About Me
Art is my passion. Glass is my medium. Color is my happy. Family is my everything.
I love glass - the texture, the transparency, the color ... oooh do I love the color. I like to melt it and shape it and twist it around. I like to stack it high and melt it down. I like to cut it and shape it and fit it together like a puzzle. I like to wake up in the morning and see what happened to it in the magical baking oven (aka the kiln).
All my creations come from the labor of my own 2 hands. I use the finest raw materials in everything I make. I use only American, German, and Italian made glass sourced ethically from countries with fair labor and safe conditions. I use only pure metals in my jewelry creations - with no lead or nickel or plated materials. Austrian crystals and genuine semi-precious stones may adorn my pieces. I strive for excellence in craftsmanship and guarantee the quality of my work.
I live in the frozen tundra of Minnesota and develop my art in a home studio built by my loving husband. My children have been known to join me in the workshop and make creations of their own. They have been bitten by the glass bug and I already look forward to working alongside them as they get older. We enjoy traveling and exploring our amazing world.
