11/15/2023 - New beads available. I am trying something different and planning a designated day each week for new product listings to make it consistent and easier for my regular customers. Mark your calendars for Wednesdays as that is when I will be listing new beads ... starting today!

11/06/2023 - Christmas beads available in my Etsy Shop! Get your holi-dazzle projects started.

11/01/2023 - For the Swifties: a new series of bead sets to celebrate 1989 Taylor's Version.

10/10/2023 - A scan of my blog determined I had too much repetitive thin content that is basically just me saying hi and telling you I have new beads for sale. So I am cleaning it up and DELETING a lot of old posts. If you happen to stumble upon a '404 - page not found' error, that is why. Cause it is gone. Poof. Deleted. You didn't miss anything. 

01/18/2023 - Now that the studio is up and running and I am making beads more consistently, I will be funneling my sales channel through my Etsy Shop. Eventually I will hop back over to the Facebook selling groups or perhaps another venue ... but Etsy is where you can find my lampwork glass beads for sale - along with fused glass art and jewelry.

10/20/2022 - New studio is complete! This is worthy of a photo tour so check out this post!

Wrist Candy

Do you wear bracelets? I find they are a must-have accessory with anything sleeveless or short-sleeved - less so if the outfit includes a jacket or long-sleeved blouse. But all that bare arm needs some wrist candy to complete any look. Bracelets are a somewhat cyclical accessory ... and right now they are a hot trend . Presumably because friendship bracelets are a big deal if you are a Taylor Swift fan. I love that she has brought friendship bracelets back in style . I made friendship bracelets as a kid. I still have a caddy of DMC embroidery floss from the 80s. My favorite style though was the safety pin bracelets. Do you remember those? We filled a whole bunch of safety pins with seed beads, stacked them together, and strung them on two pieces of stretchy cord. They were flashy, big, and chunky and everything a bracelet should be. Reminiscent of my favorite bracelets from my childhood I've been making wrist candy in the flashy, big, and chunky style.  Multi-strands are like stack

Chaotic Endeavors

While the world was thrown into a live action dystopian movie, yours truly needed even more disruption and chaos. If I didn't know better, I would almost think I enjoyed insanity as I tend to rattle my own world on a seemingly regular basis. Let's go crazy and build a house and move in the middle of a pandemic while the world is on fire and supply chain issues abound. Sounds like fun. While we are at it, let's also make sure the kids are ripped from the school district they've known since kindy and introduce them to a whole new lot of kids ... during hybrid learning and mask mandates making it even harder to meet people. And since we are on a roll, let's tear down the one thing that keeps mama sane and pack the studio up first to get it out of the way. MAKES TOTAL SENSE . Fast forward two years and here we are. We survived. The kids survived. The GLASS survived. And we are all happy and thriving and better than we were before. The house is amazing. Our new school d
